Initially your workspace displays a toggle , which indicates your current state is "off" and allows you to start providing live chat services to clients.
Signing On
When you click the toggle, your state changes from Off to On immediately. You are added to the operator pool and if there are any unassigned clients, they will be assigned you at once. If there are no unassigned clients, you will get clients when new ones come or other agents sign off.
Signing Off
You need to sign off by clicking the toggle when you want to have a break or end your work hours. Otherwise, the system will continue to assign new clients to you when you are away. Be sure to not let clients desperately wait for a reply that would never come!
FAQ
Why do the tabs not work any more after I sign on with workspace?
When you've signed on with workspace, the only task you're expect to perform is providing live support to clients. To this end Acobot prevents you from leaving from workspace when you've signed on.
What if I close browser without signing off?
The system will help you to sign off in two minutes or so. Your clients will be re-assigned to other working operators, if any. When you log in next time, you will see a warning message.
