Flagging a Client (#flag)

The client list is dynamic. A client in the list may change their state and/or order in list from time to time. Sometimes you may want to "flag" a client because you need to follow up with it a little later.

To flag a client,

  1. Type #flag in the message box.
  2. Press Enter.

A flag icon will be added to the current client, differentiating it from the rest. The flag icon will persist until you unflag it, even when you choose other clients as the current client.

#flag is one of the Sharp Codes. With # symbol, you tell Acobot the following text is a command to the system, rather than a text to client.

To unflag a flagged client,

  1. Choose the client you want to unflag from the client list.
  2. Type #flag in the message box.
  3. Press Enter.

Tips

For productivity, you may type #flag sharp code along with the message to clients. Acobot will stripe the code away from the message before sending it to clients. Doing so the client will never see sharp codes in the messages.

Keep in mind, sharp symbol (#) and anything following will be removed from the message. If the text following the symbol matches any sharp codes, the corresponding action will be performed. Or the test is ignored.
